Sadly, summer is coming to an end...
But fortunately for my closet, all those fabulous summer clothes I've been lusting after are on sale!

Here are a few items I'm thinking of adding to my collection:

:Lingonberry Corset Dress @ Anthropologie $169 reduced from $328:

:Peacock Plume sandals @ Anthropologie $59 reduced from $118:

:Shakuhachi Lace Maxi Dress @ Urban Outfitters $149 reduced from $315:

By the way, Mad Men is my new T.V. show obsession, the fashion back then was to die for :)
If you get a chance to watch, I'm sure you will fall in love too !

Now...these items might be a little pricey, but I worked hard this summer, I think I deserve a reward :)

Mini Cheesecake Bites

Mmmmm...I love love LOVE cheesecake, add in some chocolate chips, and make them fun sized?!  I think I'm in heaven.

Here is the next recipe I'm going to try out on my roomates :)

Chocolate Chip Mini Cheesecakes
Crust
1 cup graham cracker crumbs
2 tbsp brown sugar
small pinch salt
2 1/2 tbsp butter, melted
Cheesecake
8-oz cream cheese, softened
2 tbsp sour cream or greek-style yogurt
1/3 cup sugar
1 large egg
1 tsp vanilla extract
1 cup chocolate chips
Preheat oven to 350F. Line 8 cups of a muffin pan with paper liners.
In a medium bowl, make the graham cracker crust. Mix together graham cracker crumbs, brown sugar and salt and stir to combine. Pour over melted butter and stir with a fork to moisten the crumbs.
Place about a tablespoon of crumb mixture in each of the prepared muffin cups and pack down into an even layer.
In a large bowl, make the cheesecake. Cream together cream cheese, sour cream and sugar until smooth. Beat in the egg and vanilla extract.
Place 1 tbsp chocolate chips into each of the muffin cups. Evenly divide cheesecake batter between the muffin cups, covering the first layer of chocolate chips. Place another tbsp of chocolate chips on top of the cheesecake batter in each of the muffin cups.
Bake for 20-25 minutes, until cheesecakes are set.
Allow to cool for 10 minutes in the muffin pan, then carefully transfer cheesecakes to a cooling rack to cool completely before refrigerating.
Makes 8.

Hair-aphy

I've been a blonde my whole life, a little afraid to make an drastic color changes or take risks with the length!  However, I have found a few ideas that add a little kick to your everyday hair look.

Enjoy :)

{[(Striped)]}

Stripes will always be a classic statement piece for any closet.  I own my fair share of sheer striped, nautical striped, and diagonal striped outfits.  They can make a plain pair of white shorts pop or give a solid colored blazer a crisp look.

My striped loves:

:This black and white striped skirt is so simple, yet it adds so much punch to this outfit.  The stripes are horizontal, creating a slimming effect.  I would also LOVE to find that pink blazer, I'm still searching high & low for it:

:Basic striped t-shirt, found @ the Gap or J. Crew:

:Colorful striped dress found @ Anthropologie:

:Striped Wedges, found @ Anthropologie:

Just some words of wisdom from the great Lilly Pulitzer...

Have a wonderful day!
